MARIE-NOELLE AND INTERNTIONAL DEVELOPMENT PLUS
This is the space where I, Marie-Noelle, share musings from my world as I see it.
I’m sharing how I’m figuring out this whole development thing, the coolest things I find, reflecting on my younger years, reflecting on my career, and charting out my purpose and living impactfully.
My blog posts cut across the macro (governance, development) and micro (personal development).
I cant promise you answers though. Instead I offer a starting point to explore – and grow — our ideas of creating a better world in a community of forward thinking individuals.
The goal is get to less and less wrong how the world works – and people thrive.

Over the course my career and education, I have written extensively and yet I still need to proofread a thousand times, but I write.

Over the past half decade, I have done a few interesting things.
I have:
– developed original research on various topics.
– advised on economic growth and diversification strategies.
– co-hosted a podcast; and
– organized a few dialogues and an African Summit(shoutout LSE).
While born and raised in the Accra, Ghana, I have lived in diverse lands and enjoyed the novelty of food, cultures, meeting people and wandering.
I am an avid knowledge gatherer and sharer who loves thinking through the challenges we face and what solutions could look like!
As such, anything I find interesting on the topics of creating prosperity, governance and economic growth, amongst others, I explore – and share. That’s a whole “Marie-Noelle and International Development plus” narrative. I have shared on many platforms but more recently on the Daily Maverick.
On most days I am super optimistic about Africa’s growth, other days, not so much. And so you will see through this blog, reflections, ideas, questions and general cool information.
You should also know that on some days, you will only find random musings about doing life – and that’s absolutely fine!
In case you’re wondering, the views expressed here are my own and subject to change as I learn and do more so please, calm down.
I love sharing my experience and expertise in developing and delivering growth strategies, and my ideas about doing development from a place of kindness and human interaction.
